GH premiered on April 1, 1963 on ABC set in Port Charles, New York
None of the soaps will air new episodes on Monday, September 6, due to
Labor Day.
To benefit The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, AMC's Bobbie Eakes (Krystal)
and Natalie Hall (Colby) and GH's Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Brandon
Barash (Johnny) will star in a production of Kander and Ebb's The World Goes
'Round on October 7, 9 and 10 at the Center's Renberg Theatre. Each
performance will be hosted by a different star from AMC or GH. For tickets

were broadcast Live
on CBS from the Las Vegas Hilton on Sunday, June 27, 2010, when Agnes Nixon received a Lifetime Achievement Award. The Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Emmy Awards

ABC Daytime is launching a series of "What If" webisodes on abc.com and
soapnet.com in July that answer the question, "What would happen if two
characters from different soaps ran into each other. OLTL Executive producer
Frank Valentini, will direct 10 four-minute webisodes featuring your favorite
ABC soap characters: AMC`s Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and GH`s Sonny
Corinthos (Maurice Benard), GH`s Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and OLTL`s Viki
Banks (Erika Slezak), AMC`s Ryan Lavery (Cameron Mathison) and GH`s Carly Jacks

Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) ruptured his Achilles'
tendon while playing basketball on the Third Annual Soap Cruise to
Mexico at the end of January. After being in a cast, he underwent
surgery, then had to wear a smaller cast; but now that's off, and he's
undergoing physical therapy to be able to walk normally again! If

on his nomination for the 62nd Directors Guild of America Awards for his
work on
Episode #11,902, which aired on 9/29/09, Maxie & Spinelli's
non-wedding. On Saturday, January 30, 2010, the winner was
announced: Christopher Goutman for his work on "As The World Turns."
